This is a piece that was created by Biagio freehand. Biagio composed the arrangement of roses to accentuate the form of the wearer's body and showcase each rose to protrude through the foreground towards the viewer.
The Trinacria is the symbol of Sicily. Biagio's client of Sicilian heritage wanted to emblazon her back with the image of her motherland. Biagio created an original representation of the Trinacria by utilizing elements of his client's personal life.
Here is a compilation of highlights of the "Trinacria". Original creation from Biagio. Notice how the eyes are in negative to show that the wearer "is" the representation of Sicily.
Biagio created this Crystalline Rose tattoo for his very own cousin, Crystal Lynn Rose (That is her real maiden name!!). A fan of crystals, roses and her own name, Crystal wanted this tattoo to embody these aspects of her life.
Wanting a Dragon Koi to represent his own transformation in his life, this client came to Biagio for his cover-up. Biagio approached this piece with his own take on the Japanese subject matter by freehand sketching with a marker before permanently tattooing the design into the skin. An original design with a realistic approach is what drove Biagio to create this sleeve.
Biagio free-handed this rose and stem to follow the lines of the back and sit well on the body.
